September always signals a new beginning. It’s most likely due to years of conditioning by the new school year, for me that often meant a new school too, and, of course, it’s the start of a new season.
The beginning of Fall is more structured than the end of Summer and not as hectic the beginning of Winter and the holidays. It’s a time of change. It’s the perfect time to look around, to plan.
So what’s on the horizon?
I’m looking at taking stock, simplifying things, to end some old habits and learn new ones for seeing, appreciating, and celebrating the little things, the #remarqueoftheday.
One habit that won’t change is Fall is a new beginning!
“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.” –Henry David Thoreau
